Channeled Message: Take life inventory.

This is a time for self-reflection.

And more so – it is a time for life inventory.

Look at each area of your life, and take inventory. Some areas to look at may include:

  • Well-Being
  • Relationships
  • Work
  • Spirituality
  • Creativity
  • Finances
  • Growth

When reflecting on each area, ask yourself:

Am I happy with this area of my life?If not, why? What can I do to feel fulfilled in this area of my life? What micro-steps can I take to see the change that I desire?

The secret to transformation and growth is micro-steps.

You cannot get from point A to point Z with the flip of a switch. But you CAN get there from simple actions done consistently.

Only you have the power to transform your life.

  • But first, you must reflect on what is causing you unhappiness and distress.
  • You must get clear on what you REALLY want.
  • And then you must take inspired action consistently to achieve the transformation you seek.

Channeled Message: Release

Photo by Slava B on Unsplash

What are you holding onto right now?

Even as the world slows down, looks different, still so many of you struggle with doing anything BUT going inward.

  • You struggle with feeling and accepting and surrendering.
  • You struggle with the unknown and the lack of control.
  • You struggle with your fear and the global uncertainty.

Within you is so much pent up emotion and energy.

Like a volcano waiting to erupt.

Release the pressure.

Allow those feelings, no matter how dark or scary they may be, to move through you.

Acknowledge them.

They are PART of you.

They are information that you need to process.

You cannot continue to bottle up everything inside, you must release.

  • What are you feeling right now?
  • What are you holding onto?
  • What do you need to release?

Take some time and space to sit with yourself and ask these questions.

Breathe deeply until you feel grounded and connected into your body.

Close your eyes, ignore the wayward thoughts of your mind, and just observe what comes up when you ask these questions.

And then allow yourself to feel.

Allow yourself to accept whatever arises.

And then allow yourself to move through it, then release it.

– Archangel Raziel (Raziel can help you uncover new spiritual insights, clear psychic blockages, solve problems, and get creative.)

Learning How to Read the Akashic Records

As someone who loves to learn, I am always studying something. Whether I have my nose stuck in a personal development book or I’m trying (and often failing) at a new DIY on Pinterest, I really enjoy learning new things and broadening my education in general.

As we moved into 2020, spirit guided me to stop over-consuming content and courses and instead be super selective about what I decided to study and learn. They informed me that my time and energy are both limited and sacred, and to make sure that I was focusing on and completing things, rather than scattering myself across too many projects and goals and never finishing anything.

I heeded the guidance and instead of signing up for online courses and workshops willy nilly (as I’m known to do) , and buying allll the books on new and different topics, I waited to see what, if anything, I felt called to pursue this year.

I didn’t need to wait long!

For the past year or so, I’ve had an interest in the Akashic Records. I’ve had two readings done by two different practitioners and really enjoyed the experiences. I received so much valuable insight and wisdom that has really helped me along my journey.

Of course after these experiences, I had some stray thoughts that maybe I should look into a course to learn how to read the Records myself, but I didn’t really dive into this practice…

Until now 🙂

For the past few weeks, spirit has been like a neon sign blazing in my head and heart: “LEARN HOW TO READ THE AKASHIC RECORDS!” My guides have been super insistent on me diving into this right now, and I am following the call. And it’s been pretty wild so far, although I’ve only just started to dip my toes into this.

I’m starting with reading How to Read the Akashic Records: Accessing the Archive of the Soul and Its Journey by Linda Howe. Here are some fun synchronicities that have already popped up as I begin this course of study:

1) As I’ve been reading the book, this content and practice feels so familiar to me. I keep getting the visual of uncovering long written journals and revisiting them again for the first time in a long time. The Records are known to me on a much deeper, soul level.

2) Linda Howe was called to shamanism and shamanic drumming prior to delving into learning how to read the Akashic Records. This has happened to me recently as well! While attending a recent sound healing meditation, the drums activated me in a new way and led me to shamanic drumming meditations, which helped me connect to a new spirit guide.

3) In the book, before digging into how to learn to read the Records, Howe has a Pillar of Light meditation for the reader to complete. Her visuals are almost exactly the same as my own grounding & connecting to source/spirit practice. Like, almost exactly.

4) The information on channeling wisdom from the Records is very similar to how I’ve always channeled and received wisdom. It just sounds like once I open the Records, I’ll be pulling from a new source.

5) There’s an emphasis on spoken word when it comes to reading the Records, and literally last week, I was sharing with a soul sister of mine that I’ve felt called to channel while going on my morning walks and recording it on my phone (although I haven’t done it – yet.).

Needless to say, I am geeking out hardcore over all of these little magical experiences and learning how to read the Akashic Records. I’m excited to continue this area of study and see how this practice unfolds for me. I hope it’s a new service I can offer somewhere down the line, for sure!

In the meantime, I’m just really enjoying following the guidance of spirit and watching how doing so continues to unlock new spaces and gifts within me <3

Channeled Message: You are more

Photo by Mariam Soliman on Unsplash

You are more than you think you are.

You are more than your job or lackthereof.

You are more than your relationships.

You are more than your goals and desires.

You are more than your accomplishments.

You are more than your wins.

You are more than your failures.

You are more than the shape and size of your body.

You are more than all of the experiences that make up your life.

You go deeper.

Inside you is infinite light, energy, and love.

There is a deep inner wisdom and knowing that makes up your essence.

You are stardust and energy in motion and infinite possibilities.

Who are you?

Not your name. Not your age. Not your job or the ego based identity that you resonate with day to day.

Who are you REALLY?

Why are you here?

What is your purpose?

What will you leave behind once you move on?

If you do not know the answers to these questions, then focus on just this one:

Who do you WANT to be?

– Archangel  Selaphiel (Archangel Selaphiel is the angel of prayer and helps people connect to God at a deeper level to find guidance and support.)

Weekly Wisdom: Middle World

The middle world is about reality and creation.

Here’s a line from the card description that really resonated:

“When things are right in the middle world, heaven and Earth support everything. When they are not right, heaven and Earth must be brought into order as well.”

So what is your middle world experience right now?

Do you feel supported?

Or do you feel like things need to be brought to order?

If you feel as though you should be moving toward change or creation, be sure that you have what you need.

Ask for help from source and spirit to support your endeavor.

You will know when the time is right to move forward, for now, wait, and call on support and higher energy.

Creating a Sacred Space

^ That’s my sacred space :: heart eyes ::

Something I’ve learned along my spiritual journey is the importance of creating a sacred space where you can connect with yourself and spirit and perform daily practices, like card pulls, journaling, and meditation.

Our environment is so integral to our energy and can truly impact how we feel at any given moment.

Why do you think the Marie Kondo “spark joy” decluttering method is so trendy right now? Everything is energy. When we’re surrounded by clutter, we’re surrounded by chaotic, draining energy. When things are tidy, organized, and pleasant to look at, we feel calm and inspired.

For me personally, creating my sacred space was a double win – 1) Because it was so important to me to have a dedicated spiritual space to focus and connect, and 2) Because I’ve always been an interior design nerd and I LOVE decorating, and shopping to decorate 😉

My sacred space is set up in my bedroom, and it consists of a desk that I use for my altar space, shelves with all of my spiritual tools, supplies, and books, and a comfy armchair that I only use for meditation, channeling, or journaling. I often call my sacred space my soul altar. It’s literally my favorite part of my apartment 🙂

I love bright colors, so my bedroom in general is colorful and bold, with coral walls and teal accents. My sacred space is also very colorful – I have a coral and teal shawl that I use as a runner for my desk, a piece of chakra artwork that highlights the 7 bright chakra colors, and resin art that looks like the ocean and the galaxy that hangs above my desk.

Every single item that makes up my sacred space is near and dear to me. Here’s a rundown of some of the spiritual artifacts that make up my soul altar:

Oracle & tarot cards: I keep my card decks on the shelves in my sacred space, and I also keep out my monthly and weekly card spreads on my desktop to refer back to. To learn about my favorite card decks, check out this post!

Candles: I use candles during meditation, channeling, and journaling. I usually light them when I am pulling cards, too. Candle colors can be important, as each color has a specific meaning or intent. I’ll make a separate blog post about that in the future.

Crystals, rocks, & shells: I have a ton of healing crystals and books that go into crystals at length. I’ll work with different crystals depending on how I’m feeling or what my intention is in the moment. I also have various rocks, stones, and sea shells that I’ve collected while traveling over the years. These pieces come from California, which is my desired locale (and I hope to move there soon!), Maine, and Assateague Island, to name a few. Sometimes when I travel, particularly when I’m out in nature or at a beach setting, I can just feel the impact it has on my soul. I like to pick up little tokens from those places to commemorate those moments.

Spiritual books: Some of the spiritual books living in my sacred space are The Magic, The Four Agreements, Big Magic, and The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings among many others. I also keep my soul journal (and past soul journals) stashed in this area.

Wind chimes: I find the sound of wind chimes beautiful and haunting. Since I live in an apartment and don’t have dedicated outdoor space, I wanted to buy a tabletop wind chime for my altar.

Lotus photo: The lotus is very significant to me. The thought of rising from the mud to bloom into something beautiful is not only poetic but similar to how I view myself and my own spiritual journey. The lotus also represents enlightenment, which I’m constantly seeking. I even have a lotus tattoo!

Mala beads: I often joke with my friends that I’m a bit of a mala whore lol. I have quite the mala beads connection, but different strands invoke different feelings/intentions for me, and I love having them all hang in my sacred space.

Himalayan salt lamp: For allll the zen vibes. I have three of these lamps throughout my apartment, and they are a quick and easy way to shift the energy and vibrations in your space.

Quote card: It reads, “Perhaps the stars in the sky are loved ones letting us know they are near by guiding us through the night.” This combines two of my favorite things: stars and something that makes me think of my gram, who passed a number of years ago.

Incense: I have two favorite incense scents that I use: sandalwood for my bedroom/sacred space, and Nirvana by Wildberry Incense for the rest of my apartment.

I love my sacred space. Just looking at it, or even thinking about it can shift my energy into a more calm, zen state. Talk about magic 😉

I’d love to know – do you have your own sacred space? If so, what’s in it? And if not, are you feeling called to create one? Drop a comment a let me know!

Channeled Message: Surrender into your heart space.

There are two ways to live your life: in love or in fear.

Living in fear looks like:

  • Being a control freak
  • Living from a place of scarcity
  • Constantly “working hard” and hustling to prove your worth
  • Obsessing over the past
  • Agonizing over the future
  • Making decisions based on a need for certain safety

Living in love looks like:

  • Trust
  • Acceptance of what is
  • Surrendering to the flow of life instead of forcing action & outcomes
  • Following your intuition
  • Being curious
  • Making time for play and connection
  • Compassion for those who live and act from fear

So how do you live from a place of love?

The easiest way to do this is to surrender to your heart space.

The energy of the heart feels light, warm, and expansive, vs. the energy of the mind/fear, which feels heavy, dark, and constricted.

Check in with yourself daily, especially when you’re struggling. Ask yourself: what space am I living from right now?

If it is the space of fear – stop, take a deep breath, and surrender to your heart space.

Allow the lightness, trust, and love to surround you. Steep yourself in this divine energy and live from THAT place.

– Archangel Metatron (Metatron helps us release what is no longer serving us, allowing us to align with higher vibrations and tap into our divine light & energy.)

Weekly Wisdom: First Ray of Power

The wisdom for this week is about conscious destruction.

We are both creators AND destroyers.

Destruction isn’t always bad. It can be used as a way to release what is no longer serving you and usher in new beginnings.

The First Ray of Power is about removing the things, people, and situations that are holding you back.

You may find yourself in an unexpected time of change, or perhaps you feel motivated to break outside of your comfort zone or shake up your routines.

These changes will feel both urgent and freeing. Flow with them. Be detached and allow yourself to release control.

Whatever is flowing into or out of your life now is part of your divine journey.

Trust. Surrender. Allow.

On Friendship

It’s been over a decade since I started to dabble in the realm of personal growth, and within the past few years I’ve really leveled up my commitment to my own journey of self-discovery. The concept of relationships and deep connection has been on my radar more and more, and I’ve realized not only the importance of connection and our relationship with others, but also how it can spawn revelations when it comes to personal growth and self-identity.

Over the years, like everyone, I’ve experienced an ebb and flow with my friendships. Very few of my current friends are people I knew before college, and I’ve shed three of my longest tenured (think at least 10 years) and/or deepest friendships over the past few years alone. Losing those friendships was really painful, but it also made me realize how important it is to let go of relationships that no longer serve you, especially if they’re toxic.

Each of us deserves to be treated with love and respect, and if that isn’t something that you are receiving in your relationships, then it’s time to let them go. It’s also important to realize that sometimes you just outgrow people. I know for me, once I opened myself to authenticity and personal integrity and really took inventory of my personal values and beliefs, it was extremely difficult for me to settle for friendships that were unbalanced or shallow.

Looking past the pain of those lost friendships, I realized that the connections that I still maintain are bonds that truly light me up. I have quality friends. I am surrounded by people who genuinely love me and care about me and my life. They want what’s best for me. They encourage me to chase my dreams and explore my potential. They support me in good times and bad, and they love me for me. Really, at the end of the day, that is all any of us want, right?

The awesome–and unexpected–result of shedding toxic relationships is that it made me really invest in my relationship with myself. I began to realize that I deserve better. I deserve to receive the same quality of love and support that I so freely offer to others. Self-love has been a big theme for me the past couple of years, and it’s helped me not only cultivate a deeper appreciation and love for myself, but it’s also ushered so many amazing people into my life.

Once I overcame my fear of letting go of a few toxic relationships, I received an influx of new and beautiful people in my life. These amazing earth angels share so many of the struggles and aspirations that I experience, and it has allowed us to bond quickly and on a much deeper level than I was used to. Bonds like that, particularly ones that accompany hardcore soul-searching, force you to be better and shine brighter.

I now feel more aligned and authentic to who I am than I’ve ever felt in my life. I know that I am here to shine my light and give others permission to do the same. That revelation and the feeling that goes along with it would never be possible if it wasn’t for the amazing, beautiful, soulbffs who are part of my life. <3

Channeled Message: Your old way of being is gone

Photo by Allie Smith on Unsplash

The old ways are gone.

A new way of being has emerged.

True, it comes from struggle, strife, and fear, but it has emerged nonetheless.

This is an opportunity for you. An opportunity to:

Reassess your routines and way of being – where can you let go of habits and beliefs that do not serve you? Where can you create new practices and routines to up level your day to day existence?

Become aware of your energetics – in every moment, you have the ability to shift your state of being. Feeling anxious? Stop, breathe, channel us, and love yourself in that moment.

Set healthy boundaries – where are you overextending yourself and giving too much only to receive too little? Where are you losing your sense of self? Where are you sacrificing your own experience for that of others?

Get to know yourself in a new way – are you who you think you are? Take this time to go inward and connect with your highest, purest form. What identities are you holding onto that do not serve you? How are you staying small and living from a place of fear? How can you open up to a bigger, brighter way of being?

Your old way of being is gone. It’s okay to mourn this loss, but know that it is for the better. You now have the opportunity to start a new chapter in your life.

So what story are you ready to live and tell?

– Archangel Gabriel (Gabriel is the archangel of communication, new beginnings, and strength.)

^^ You guys, I still get so akjfewoaijgoewijag when I research my messengers and see that what they stand for is so SPOT ON to the wisdom received.
